My name is Jalen and this is my story.....
My name is Jalen. On Jan 25, 2012 my life was dramatically changed. It
was discovered that I had a mass in my brain. The next day I was taken
to surgery to remove the tumor.
I spent a total of 11 days in the PICU at Shands.
They told my parents that I have a Medulloblastoma. This is a uncommon tumor. It is crucial to treat it aggressively with radiation and chemotherapy.
We will be travel alot. I will have my radiation treatment at MD Anderson in Houston, Tx for 6 weeks.
After which i will have a short respite.After my break I will start chemotherapy treatments at Arnold Palmer Childrens' Hosital.
